5th China Chaoshan International Textile and Garment Exhibition set for March 2026
The 5th China Chaoshan International Textile and Garment Exhibition (CTGE 2026) will open on March 18, 2026, at the Shantou International Convention & Exhibition Center, as announced during a press conference on November 1. -
November 02, 2025 With a planned exhibition area of over 150,000 square meters, the event will feature the latest technologies, products, and business models in the textile and apparel industry. It will gather more than 1,200 enterprises from over 19 intimate apparel industrial clusters across China, featuring a dedicated brand zone for the first time.
The exhibition will host over 50 activities, including fashion shows, industry summits, youth entrepreneur forums, cultural festivals, and B2B matchmaking sessions, highlighting innovation and global collaboration in the sector.
Li Fei, a standing committee member of the CPC Shantou Municipal Committee, emphasized the city's commitment to building its industry. Key projects such as the global textile procurement center, textile industrial park, and exhibition center are already operational, while new initiatives like an advanced fabric manufacturing base and an international digital trade hub are underway to strengthen Shantou's global influence in textile and apparel.
Lin Yunfeng, President of the China Knitting Industrial Association, praised CTGE 2026 as a growing platform that bridges domestic and international markets while driving industrial innovation. The exhibition has become a leading global event for intimate apparel, offering a "Chaoshan model" for high-quality industry development.
Weng Chuangjie, Chairman of the Shantou Textile and Garment Industry Association, noted the exhibition's rapid expansion, from 30,000 square meters in its first year to 130,000 square meters, with participation from more than 2,500 renowned companies. The upcoming edition aims to further elevate its scale and impact, helping local brands integrate into global supply chains.
During the press conference, the association signed strategic agreements with international intimate wear brands to enhance cross-border cooperation. The exhibition also launched the "sailing plan," supporting small and medium enterprises in global expansion through integrated logistics, marketing, and trade services.
CTGE 2026 will continue to foster industry collaboration through its "exhibition + fashion show + livestreaming + trade" model, reinforcing Shantou's role as a key hub for intimate apparel worldwide.
