Maharashtra CM unveils ‘E-Textile’ system

September 26, 2024 Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde, at Sahyadri Guest House, unveiled the ‘E-Textile’ system. Created by ICICI Bank to advance the textile sector, the system was created for the textile department’s many schemes, automating procedures from start to finish.
The ‘E-Textile’ system was created according to Secretary of the Textiles Department Singh’s presentation, to make information on all of the department’s initiatives easily accessible and available in one location for seamless commercial dealings.
On this occasion, in attendance were Textiles Minister Chandrakant Patil, Chief Secretary Sujata Saunik, Secretary of the Textiles Department, Virendra Singh along with ICICI Bank representatives, concerned officials and Shrikrishna Pawar, deputy secretary of the textiles department.
Chief Minister Shinde announced the state’s new integrated and sustainable textile industry policy at this occassion. The Chief Minister gave the directive that the small textile industry be supported and that this policy be used to create the most jobs possible.
