Abohar – Spot cotton traded steady in major markets of north India on Tuesday. Demand is reported average, many regions of north India have received a good rainfall.
Ready delivery cotton in Bhatinda market is placed at Rs 3,180- 3,200 per maund, in Budhlada at Rs 3,200- 3,220 in Mansa at Rs 3,140- 3,200 and in Muktsar at Rs 3,180- 3,200 per maund.
Prices at Sirsa and Fatehabad, Haryana were quoted at Rs 3,120- 3,160 per maund, in Rajasthan markets of Hanumangarh at Rs 3,070- 3,100 per maund and in Sriganganagar at Rs 2,960- 3,000 per maund.
