Abohar - An improved demand from millers end supported cotton prices to tad up in leading markets of north India on Monday. Prices moved up in the range of Rs 5-10 per maund. Total arrival in the range stood around 8,000 bales.
Ready delivery cotton in Bhatinda market is placed at Rs 2,805- 2,824 per maund, in Budhlada at Rs 2,820- 2,840, in Mansa at Rs 2,765- 2,810 and in Muktsar at Rs 2,800- 2,820 per maund.
Prices at Sirsa and Fatehabad, Haryana were quoted at Rs 2,740- 2,770 per maund, in Rajasthan markets of Hanumangarh at Rs 2,725- 2,760 per maund and in Sriganganagar at Rs 2,650-2,680 per maund.
