SEL Manufacturing Company is considering establishing a spinning unit with the capacity of 195,840 spindles in the state of Madhya Pradesh (MP) as part of its expansion plans.
The company will invest Rs 800 crore on the project, which will be under Textile Up-Gradation Fund Scheme (TUFS).
The said project has been technically appraised by Technopak Advisors and the financial appraisal for the same has been done by SBI Capital Markets, New Delhi.
Following this expansion, the consolidated manufacturing facilities (i.e. in spinning) of the company, including the capacities under implementation under its expansion plans, will increase up to approximately 4 lakh spindles + 1632 rotors for open ended spinning.
SEL Manufacturing Company is engaged in the development, manufacturing, and marketing of yarns, knitted fabrics, and ready-made garments in India and in overseas markets. Its products include carded and combed yarn, polyester texturised yarn, various knitted fabrics, and knitted garments.
