Abohar - An ease in upper level buying limited the rise in cotton spot prices. It altogether traded in a steady tone in major markets of north India on Friday.
Ready delivery cotton in Bhatinda market is placed at Rs 2,790- 2,810 per maund, in Budhlada at Rs 2,810- 2,830, in Mansa at Rs 2,750- 2,800 and in Abohar at Rs 2,755- 2,775 per maund.
Prices at Sirsa and Fatehabad, Haryana were quoted at Rs 2,730- 2,770 per maund, in Rajasthan markets of Hanumangarh at Rs 2,710- 2,740 per maund and in Sriganganagar at Rs 2,630-2,660 per maund.
