Abohar - Spot cotton prices altogether traded in a dull tone across major trading centres of north India Monday. Arrival in the region stood at 3,000 bales against total arrival in the country of 1.16 lakh bales.
Ready delivery cotton in Bhatinda market is placed at Rs 2,625- 2,645 per maund, in Budhlada at Rs 2,640- 2,660, in Mansa at Rs 2,580- 2,615 and in Abohar at Rs 2,590- 2,615 per maund.
Prices at Sirsa and Fatehabad, Haryana were quoted at Rs 2,560- 2,599 per maund, in Rajasthan markets of Hanumangarh at Rs 2,550- 2,580 per maund and in Sriganganagar at Rs 2,490- 2,515 per maund.
