Please read all the information carefully before starting using butterfly.mailr.
butterfly.mailr sends e-mails to various addresses specified in various text files. The text files can be changed and saved independently using a web interface. The user has the possibility to use HTML or plain text format.

butterfly.mailr generates a log file in 2 modes, simple and debug.
How can I change various options of the script?
Use the config.php file, located in the root directory.

Is there an offline or demo mode available?
Yes, it is. You can activate/deactivate it from the config.php file.

Can I use a diferrent addresses document/file or located elsewhere?
Yes, you can, provide it the file is in .txt format. Just use the Path to a special address file field.

How many e-mails can I send?
Thousands :) Be sure to check the php.ini execution time, and be sure to set it in the config.php file, too.

Can I use a preset signature?
Yes, use the config.php file.

What are all those options in the config.php file?
Read the comments available to each option.
  1. Unzip the archive. Probably already done so, as you are reading this file.
  2. Upload to root directory.
  3. CHMOD 777 the directories "emailer/lists/" and "emailer/log/".
  4. CHMOD 666 to all files in the directory "emailer/lists/" and "emailer/log/".
  5. Open the script config.php and set up your script accordingly.
  6. Run index.php.
